Common questions

Is it really free to contribute?
Yes — 100% free. There's no fee to apply, write, or get published. We believe great content should stand on its merit. In return, you receive a permanent do-follow backlink, promotion, and an author profile.
How long does the review process take?
Pitch reviews typically take 48–72 hours. Once your article is submitted after approval, the editing and final review stage takes another 2–3 business days. Total time from pitch to publish is usually 7–14 days.
Can I write about my own tools or services?
You may mention your own tools contextually when relevant, but promotional articles will not be accepted. The article's primary purpose must be to educate and help the reader — not to advertise. We'll flag and ask you to revise if a submission crosses into promotional territory.
What happens if my article is rejected?
If your pitch doesn't fit, we'll let you know why and may suggest an alternative angle. If a completed article isn't accepted after revisions, we'll tell you clearly. You retain full ownership of your work and can publish it elsewhere.
Can I republish my article on my own blog afterward?
We ask for first-publication rights. After your article has been live for 60 days, you can republish it on your own site with a canonical tag pointing to the original SEOLearn.ing URL. This protects your SEO value and ours.
Do you pay contributors?
Currently, contributions are unpaid. The value exchange is the do-follow backlink, audience exposure, author profile, and promotional distribution. We're a community platform built on mutual expertise sharing. We'll be transparent if this changes.
How many articles can I write?
As many as you like! There's no cap on the number of articles per contributor. Each approved article earns you a new backlink opportunity (one per article, one link per article). Prolific contributors also get featured in our newsletter.
